Whoo hoo, a light drybrush with Humbrol Brick Red, then Humbrol Linen and we were finished. I then used PVA white glue to paste then to a base of vinyl bathroom tile material I had cut out to shape. Flock was then sprinkled on and left to dry. Quite a simple exercise, and I am very pleased on the outcome.
Next on the terrain list for September will be roads.
very effective, Quick to construct scenary which looks good helps when you want to concentrate on the figures and tanks, just going to start a few Airfix carriers to run alongside some ECW figures on the production line I like variety! Looking at your web site has prompted an investment in Wards Airfix book and the history of revell kits.

ReplyDeleteI am glad to further the Airfix cause, the best of British you might say!!!
ReplyDeleteMatador Models over there in the UK has a number of conversion kits for the Carriers, could be worth a look.
Cheers Paul
The walls are looking good, but I like the carriers especially. The weathered look on the lower hull is a really nice touch
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think that a bit of weathering can turn a ordinary kit into one which catches the eye.
