CD3 112th Infantry RCT A Coy

I have been quite busy over the last week or so with audits and exams at work, but I have been finding a little time to start basing my US Troops into an Command Decision Three set. After going over various US Units on which to base my force on. In the end I came across the 112th Infantry Regimental Combat Team which seemed to tick all the boxes, in terms of Unit mix, history, and service.
Alpha Coy Command stand, is a figure from the Revell US Infantry set.
1st Platoon is a mix of Revell Infantry and a US Para.
2nd Platoon, a classic ESCI ''Big Red One'' figure, which I painted around 1987 and Revell Infantry Bazooka.
3rd Platoon, another ESCI rifleman and Revell Para.
Weapons Platoon, a mix of an ESCI Browning water cooled MMG and Revell Para loading. While I have quite a good number of US figures to mix in I have just opened a box of Hasegawa US Infantry Combat Team in order to find more Bazooka's and poses.

  1. Very nice. A lot of my (as yet unpainted) Yanks are Revell figures so it's nice to see they paint up well. At least when someone other than me is wielding the brushes...
