Matchbox M16 Conversions Finish

After a quick dry over night, I decaled these babies this morning, trying to keep them as ''Allied'' as possible rather than US as I intend to use them for British vehicles as well.
I do intend to add .50 Cal's at some later stage hence the retention of the Drum Magazines in the rear decks. I must get a real M16 AA and actually build it as one from the sprue rather than continuing to rebuild wreaks.

  1. I beagn reading this sentence on your blog -
" I must get a real M16 AA and actually build it as one..."
and thought to myself - 'Holy cow! He's gonna buy and restore an actual vehicle!Re-enacting can't be far way!' - then I saw "... from the sprue rather than continuing to rebuild wreaks." and realised you were talking scale models, not war surplus/decommissioned vehicles...

  2. Ha!!!, I wish, mind you the old man has a GMC deuce and a half at home waiting to be restored, so that would be a good project.
