Hurrah! Fine weather! Time to upgrade my Morris Staff Car for my 1940 BEF Army. First up I used Bluetac to cover over the windows and lights. I find Bluetac very good for masking.
I then used a auto primer to spray the entire car flat black.
Next I removed the chassis as I did not want the wheels painted in the next stage. Using some more Bluetac I masked in some disruptive pattern strips.

A very nice looking staff car you have there!
ReplyDeleteGreets,
Crikey mate that was quick! I just posted this. Yep am happy with it. Still a little work to do. See next post!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great addition to your BEF, nice one mate.
ReplyDeleteLol, I was just updating my own blog!
ReplyDeleteYou folks are getting good at this :)
ReplyDeleteBetter than commercially available white metal stuff IMHO
Looking good. You're getting me motivated to start early war armies and that's not good ;) Have you thought of using a "borrowed" Traction Avant for your staff car? There is an excellent plastic model out there (can't remember the manufacturer though).
