I come across some spare decals for the staff car last night. So as these rather poor photo's show I took the opportunity to apply them.
A little of the blue from the original paint is still to be found on the model, but I can justify this in saying car taken in from civilian trade, and basically emergency painted.
Right onto the next project...
Very nicely done, and what I like especially is that it was simply done!
ReplyDeleteI have used blu-tac once for masking but didn't get as satisfactory a result...to see you do it is reassuring that the technique itself is not poor, just my practice of it! I'll try it again with other projects.
nice idea of using auto primer, too - especially fitting as it was diecast.
Try plasticine instead of bluetac, it may be less messy. Cheers mate.
