Some more conversion trials with Matchbox British 8th Army and Infantry. This time its Bren Gunners. These with the short sleeves, and baggy shorts would be ideal for early to mid Far East, both Scots and Canadians served either in Singapore or Hong Kong. More leg swaps, and a head swap too.
Simple head swap. Must get back to my prep for the Calais campaign which begins tomorrow.
what glue do you use to hold the torso together? is it white glue and do you pin them? is the white glue strong enough??? thanks for the repsonse David G
Interesting conversions. I have some of these guys somwhere in my cellar. Makes me feel I should do some changes, too. Inspirational as ever.

Mork, get them out of the cellar! They deserve better than that!!!
ReplyDeleteDavid, I use a outdoor PVA glue, with normal cut down pins. I glue them 3 times plus a coat after painting. I think the secret is in the base.
If you pick it up or move it I use the base not the figures head.
