2nd Company African/Cuban Para's 1980's

Continuing from last nights post, this time it's the 2nd Company up for review. Above the 4th Platoon (Soviet numbering, not mine) with AKM and SVD rifles. For some of the Beret poses I cut down the headress a lttle to make them look a little more western styled.
The 5th Platoon with Paratrooper armed with AKM and on the right a RPG-7 from the Warsaw Pact set.
6th Platoon which is the Command stand with on the left a Czech pose with AKM (he's the Officer) and Paratrooper again with AKM.
The usual Company frontage shot with Government M48 in the background. What a bunch of tough buggers!

  2. Clever stuff

Are you thinking of using AK47 as a set of rules to play with?

  3. Great set with many uses nicely painted. The IMEX Korean and chinesee set could also be used.Reminds me of the film"The wild geese"with Dickie Burton,Rog moore and Rich Harris.

  5. Rules! What rules, I have not tried AK47 rules, but am open to suggestions. I was thinking of CD3 with a modern modifier for weapons etc, or classic Airfix rules.

Wild Geese would be an awesome mission and scenerio. I will put that on the to do list, and rewatch the movie this weekend. Cheers.

Al I thought you were going to provide the opposition out of your spares box. No worries I have plans my friend, awesome plans...

  6. Bob Mckenzie has CD moderns on his site mate, charts and all. CD will work well enough but you're looking at big numbers remember, I think a company based rule set might be worth further consideration?
