D Coy / 1st Bn Far Eastern Troops

Last of the Infantry Companies for my 1st Battalion of Far Eastern troops. Al sent me a ORBAT for CD3 for these types of Units, and it seems that I have given them a extra Platoon per Company. This is not really a biggy as I can drop a Platoon for British Infantry or add one for Australian Infantry I will however ensure that my next two Battalions are correct. Above 1st Platoon, both Matchbox ANZAC riflemen.
2nd Platoon with a Thompson gunner on the right. I decided to add a few SMG's into the Platoon stands rather than just for the Command stand as with jungle warfare SMG's were quite common towards the end of 1943 and onwards.
3rd Platoon with a Bren gunner, again both figures from Matchbox ANZAC's.
Command stand, ANZAC rifleman to the right minus the bayonet and a converted Matchbox Commando. Chuffed with this conversion.
The mandatory Company frontage shot. Pleased to see the end of these Rifle Companies, and have started the Support Company and Battalion HQ stand tonight as well as a good jump on the next Battalion.
