1st Bn,2nd Regt Soviet Rifle Division 1943-45

While it may be Plane Month, it would be remiss of me to forget the other projects that pollute my bench top. So continuing on with my Soviet forces we have another three Battalion Regiment to add to my Divisional size army (Hopefully). Tonight the 1st Battalion minus its weapons Company, starting with the Command element above. New blue for the trousers of the Officers.
Rifle Company of two Platoons, stand on left Revell and on the right the old ESCI reds.
Second Company.
Third Company. Right, onto that Airfix Buffalo that has been begging for construction.

  1. Good work Paul!
I reckon that you will need a seperate blog, simply for the Russian army! So many subjects, so great the variety is!

  7. Thanks Bartender, I try to add some interest in these shots.

Yong Stan, I really only find them a little big when in buildings or trying to transport them in vehicles, otherwise they are fine.

I did look at the smaller size but after some research and looking at some other websites pics I decided for the larger size, probably just for the look. I like the look!
