Easy Model T55 Part 2

I finished these off this afternoon, while deciding on what to decals to use on the blitz. I must admit that I was surprised by the amount of comments about the blitz and T55 and apologize for not answering them or acknowledging them sooner, but I have been rather stretched the last few days.
Back to the Easy Model T55, I painted in my standard scheme for my growing Soviet era tank hoard
I added some decals from the spares box and touched up the wheels and tracks after the spray fest.
Added some minor weathering on some metal attachments, hatches and boxes.
I must say I have not come across a manufacturer that has made a decent set of aux fuel tanks. How hard could it be to mould the ends separate so you do not get the joins visible...simple stuff really.
Close up of AAMG mount from the Matchbox/Revell T34 kit. Nasty looking piece of metal.
Well that's that for these T55's which are possibly my favourite Soviet tank, probably because I got a chance to drive one around a few years back over in Christchurch. back to the Blitz!

  7. Great looking work. I did not think of using blue tac for camo. That's a great idea.
