Added the MERDC and some black touch ups.
Starting to look the part now I believe, but it is a pain to paint the scheme in this scale.
Happy with the track sag, although the whole hull still looks a tad narrow.
I suppose I will have to paint a Kiwi as well as the usual decals to be added. Not looking forward to the Kiwi part.
Unusual camouflage pattern, looks good though. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteNice, Paul, really good work!
ReplyDeleteThey're looking good. What figures will you use for 1980's Kiwi infantry? Matchbox NATO paras with a different helmet would work I suppose.
ReplyDeleteGood work there Paul!
ReplyDeleteSorry for missing all the other posts...

Good one Monty, metal I suppose will do...Get back to plastics man!
ReplyDeletemmm, I was wondering about the figures too, pretty much anything I can find with an SLR would be a good start I think
ReplyDeleteCheers Tim, Geordie and Nick. I still am not that fussed about them. Something missing about the look?
ReplyDeleteGreat looking model Paul. Well done.
ReplyDeleteHey Al
ReplyDeleteNato Para's are pretty thin around around these parts so we will have to mix it up a bit.
Lucky for me NZ was a real mix of weapons in the 1980's. M16A1's,SLR's,GPMG's, Brens both 7.62 and .303,Sterlings,M79's etc.
Thanks Paul.
ReplyDeleteCracking job on a difficult track build.Love the crazy cammo scheme,RAZZLE DAZZLE!!!!
