I counted it up and had not brought a kit for at least 45 days so I had a excuse. I carried out a bit of research on this and it seems a nice build. Siga is actually ACE , hence the research.Should arrive next week. I had better look for a car for Tim's Car Month now!
Good luck mate thats all I can say.ACE do some cracking subjects but are a sod to build.I will follow this one mate to see if am tempted back to the world of ACE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCheers Rich.
Looks an interesting kit - I have a few in 6mm.
ReplyDeleteHi Rich, I went online and found some reviews and pics of the spures just to make sure it would not be a nightmare.
ReplyDeleteI too, have suffered the pain of ACE kits before in the past and am determined not to be fooled again.
Cheers Paul
Cheers Tim.
ReplyDeleteOddball to be sure but Eastern European stuff is fairly rare down here.
Giddy Up Paul
You've done some great stuff this month Paul. I liked Dave's pak too, look forward to seeing a bit more of his stuff now that he's home safe:)
ReplyDeleteIs next month Car Month?
ReplyDeleteHi Al, most of the stuff this month have been re-paints, so only half of the work.
ReplyDeleteDaves Pak has one more post to go which I will put on today. He is on leave in Aussie at the moment so he needs to come back and finish it.
Easternfunker. Tim from Megablitz and more is having the Car Month. Of which I am sadly lacking!
ReplyDeleteThat´s a very interesting looking AFV...I don´t think I´ve seen one before...looks like something out of a gerry anderson production. What era was this...not the 80´s or?
ReplyDeleteCheers
Paul
Hi Paul.
ReplyDeleteSNAR-10 "Jaguar" (stantsiya nazemnoy artilleriskoy razvedki) - with 1RL-127 ("BIG FRED") artillery/mortar locating radar in a big rotating turret. Range: 16 km. Old NATO designators are MT-LB M1975 and MT-LB SON.
Early 70's to present. Based on the MT-LB (многоцелевой тягач легко бронированный, Mnogotselevoy Tyagach Lekhko Bronirovannyi / multi-purpose light-armoured towing vehicle) is a Soviet multi-purpose fully-amphibious armoured vehicle which was first introduced in the late 1960s. Initially the vehicle was known as the M 1970 in the west.
Was looking at just making the ML-LB as a APC.
Cheers mate.
