1980's Red Infantry Coy

A quick post to show some progress on my 1980's Red/Soviet/Warsaw Pact Infantry stands. Most figures are ESCI Warsaw Pact figures, so you will see the odd East German helmet here and there. A converted ESCI Spetnez with the Dragunov SVD sniper rifle. I will probably did not spend as much time and effort on these as I should have. Tough luck for them.
This stand has a converted ESCI Spetnez figure with a WW2 ESCI Soviet Infantry head swap.
Full Company, looking for trouble.

  2. These look very good Paul - excellent work. I have considered them myself for a 1970's based idea I have; tell me, mate how hard is the plastic fairly solid, and do they take paint well?

  4. Hi Monty, the plastic is reasonably soft, but shows no sign of going brittle as of yet.

Just got a mate to buy me three more packets. Cheers Phil!
