1980's RM Battalion Progress

Some progress shots of my elements for my Royal Marine Battalion Support Company. Above a stand for the SFMG Platoon, which replaces the Engineer Platoon. All Revell Modern British Infantry. I replaced the SA80 with a M16A1 which Al tells me is quite acceptable for the period. The Cymbeline crew stand, both figures Revell modern Germans. I will sandbag them into a slit trench next.
Anti Tank Platoon stand with another mix of modern Revell figures. The loader is a Modern German Para with a beret headswap. I was going to construct a 120mm WOMBAT but thought better of it, although if I build u a Gurkha Bn of the same period I may have to.
Flock and wash next up.

  1. Awesome progress, very cool. Many varieties of the M16 are quite common due to a close association with the special forces, this was particularly so for members of 148 and I believe still is
