1980's RM Commandos Mortar Platoon

Spent the day in the friggin garden today so not much progress. I did manage to complete these last night. Part of the Support Company the Mortar Platoon operates the L16 81mm Mortar.
Mortars are the battalion's organic Manoeuvre Support Firepower.
Figures are from Revell Modern British Infantry with the SA80's removed. Mortar is from the Valiant British WW2 set. Not the same model but close enough.

  5. I too have had garden-related distractions from the serious business of fooling about with toys. Another very businesslike looking stand Paul. I think Al speaks for us all when he mentions his disappointment at the lack of badges. Or maybe he just needs to get out more...
