2nd last post of this long running saga from Dave. "Started the diorama base and decided to go for the look of an area of ground that has been fought over already, and is covered in a lot of workshops type junk "
"So out with the spares box and chucked a bunch of crap into there. Used PVA for something different, will paint in the next few days when the ground work is dry."
"Painted the diorama base with brown paint, then got bored so hit it with a can of brown spray paint. Now it looks cool and mud like, but is doomed to change as it fades. We shall see what it looks like in 48 hours and decide where to go from there. "
"It is runny crap. Anyway, I added the grass, then painted the debris rust, did some drybrushing etc. I will add some dirt to the base in the next day or so as well as the shells, both live and expended. I did a test fit, I think its coming along there"
