I was left over with spare tube rockets from the UH-1B kits and thought I could us them, rather than just chuck them into the spares box.

First up I used the trail arms from Airfix's 6 pounder as well as the axle for the gun. Airfix/Heller GMC truck for the wheels were then added.

On top I angled the rocket pods. Pretty simple, but I think it works well.

Probably see use for my NK forces I think. That killed an hour anyway.
Reminds me of the Nebelwerfer I built using drinking straws in the '70s.
ReplyDeleteAnd a good way to spend an hour it was...Nice little scratch build.

Looking good, Paul (may have cracked the dreaded Google issue too...)

Cheers Paul I am thinking about modifications to it already, so better add another 15minutes onto that.

Good work Monty. It is a pain in the bun to work around. I am hassle free since changing to Chrome.

Hi Geordie, improvisation is the mother of desperation!
ReplyDeleteI may change it yet into a copy of a type 63 Rocket Launcher. That way I could flick a couple off to Al.
Giddy up
Ah Nick, you are still young man, plenty of time to get amongst other periods. Lots of things around to get your teeth into!
ReplyDeleteHi Biff, my target is 6 billion, so I might be a bit off yet.
ReplyDeleteKeep on clicking mate.
Great work mate!
