Strikemaster Diversions Final

Finally completed the rebuilt Strikemaster.
I raided the spares bin for the majority of the decals, but could only find a couple of low vis Kiwi roundels for the wings. The 60 serial does not match the aircraft code of 61, but tough titty. It is for wargaming not display.
I think the plyons may be a little large, but they do the trick.
The payload of the Blunty was limited compared to the A37 Tweet, with only a third of the weight being able to be carried and the metal fatigue around the wings spelled the end of its use in most countries. I could not be bothered to paint in the landing lights in the nose, the Matchbox schemes do not even make mention of them.
Nice little project complete and a bonus bit of air support for the fight for freedom. Model on!

  4. That's not a bad idea - but it'll have to wait until my kitchen is finished. Chaos here!
