A quick update on progress. Base coat of flat black for depth followed by dark yellow for the MERDC base.

Blotchy dark green and highlight the black rubber parts. Almost out of black, hopefully Al has come thru with his trip to Christchurch in the weekend and has reinforcements!

Add some of the black swirls and some extra bits such as .50 Cals and gun shields, spare road wheels. Too cold to carry on painting, must sleep!
Very nice Paul. The Airfix Sheridans I had in the '70s had been painted gloss black for some reason! I think I prefer yours.
ReplyDeleteToo cold there, too hot here in Athens!
ReplyDeleteGood job on these mate!!!

Ah Black tanks, German SS comic book schemes one would suspect!

Hi Rich, probably the most used colour I would suspect.
ReplyDeleteI love black. Hides lots of mistakes as shadows!
Al, you little beautie! Game on.
