Is That A Sheridan In Your Pocket Or Are You Just Please To See Me?
I recently grabbed three Airfix M551 Sheridan's off an auction, for a nice price. Plans are afoot for their makeover, most probably my MERDC fetish will rare it's ugly head. Add these to the Mech Bn (US) and we have Cavalry! Oh model on!
Always liked these P.O.S. they were frist all tranfered to Airborn units in about 1979 then all went to NTC to be used as Vismods of Russian equipment (still there)
I still have two of these sitting on the shelf to be converted into Desert Storm tanks (slightly different gun shields and other barrel as well as different smoke dischargers). Can't wait to see yours painted though.

ReplyDeleteVery, very jealous. The Sheridan has long been a favourite of mine, as it looks so cool while being so crap. Irresistible!
