Never in the field of human conflict has so much superglue and putty been used on such few parts...It's been almost two weeks since I last picked this kit up (Well thew it) , but I have promised Al some teeth for our next game and I am usually a man of my word.

Sanded the putty around the nose where the Hind D model nose gun was held. The gun was replaced by twin 30mm cannons on the side of the fuselage.

Again sanded the engine covers and intakes.

And added weapons suite. The Rocket pods do not match up with the diagrams or illustrations they do not seem to be the S5 UB 32 type, and frankly the AT 6 Spiral is very primitive and dodgy.
Coming along I suppose and fairly close to the painting stage. I hope comrade Al appreciates this attack on my metal well being.
Dus ve donya....;-)
ReplyDeleteGood lord, it's a test, innit?
ReplyDeleteSteady on, courage & etc.
Right on comrade, very happy:)
ReplyDeleteI admire your persistence with what appears to be a truly horrible kit. I bet it gets blown out of the sky as soon as it appears in a game!
ReplyDeleteCheers Don, not sure what that means but I think I get the drift.
ReplyDeletePost more of your MERDC hoard mate.
Hi Peabody, the drink keeps me steady and the double vision improves the whole effect.
ReplyDeleteRegards Paul
Cheers Al.
ReplyDeleteHopefully this clumsy beast will lumber into my Stinger nest early on.
Hah Tim, just what I suggested to Al. It will probably fall apart before then mate.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul
It still looks a fierce evil thing, maybe it's going to cause you nothing but trouble on the table top too ;)
ReplyDeleteI recently watched a a film called "Charlie Wilson's War" which was about the US Congressman behind funding the covert US support the Mujahedeen against the Soviets in Afghanistan
Hind's certainly didn't like "stingers" in that film
Just need a 'Rambo'-type mini now to pilot/shoot it down...;)
ReplyDeleteHmmm Monty look in ESCI US Special Forces Vietnam set. A few there would do.
ReplyDeleteCheers mate.
