British WW2 Para MMG Conversions

The first of two posts tonight see's my attempts to add WW2 British Paratroop Battalion MMG Platoon's to my two re-based Paratrooper Battalions I am working on. Okay so it my be three Battalions...

Donor figures are Revell WW2 Australians, who wear the standard ocker tunic which can double as a smock in this scale, or shirt sleeves. Simple head cuts are made and ESCI/Italeri British Paratrooper helmets are added. I choose to mix the headdress up a tad and some berets from the NATO Paratroops set which were lying around were added.
Parachute Battalions were some of the only Battalion sized British Units to have integral MMG's (Vickers) within the TOE. Other Battalions normally had to have Vickers Platoons or Companies attached (begged) from dedicated Machine Gun Battalions.

Paintwork will start tonight, as I have finished basing all the other sub-units from the first Battalion.
