ICM BTR 152V Pt 2 Construction

As you can see, not many parts to get flustered over, and if you are like myself and only going to be wargaming with it some of these will not even be used. Note the extra wheel, that's a nice bonus to go into the spares box.
The lower hull and axle assembly is where you will be spending most of your brain power, and if you are like me, the somewhat general instructions will come as a bit of a puzzle, so dry fit before gluing to ensure that you are on the right track. Also important to note that the parts that look on the sprue to be cut off at certain places, usually have more to them than looks on the instructions.
Upper hull comes as one piece, and its a nice fit and lovely treat. Some mould lines are present on the bonnet down to the grill, I tried to remove these with the knife but will go back over with sandpaper. The front driving lights will have to be drilled. This is not too much of a hassle as the are clearly marked under the mud guards.
Internal hull assembly, is straight forward enough but you need to guess-ti-mate the locations. Messy steering wheels and gear sticks were left out as its for the game table not a competition.
BTR 152V complete. The AAMG mount needed cutting down as in its moulded form it is way too high. No ammo box is provided either which is bit of a shame.
I added two towing hooks to the front of the front bumper guard as I think it needed some. The front light mesh guards are a little thick, but they usually are when done in plastic.
Overall a hassle free build that I rather enjoyed. Nice to make a Eastern European kit with any major construction faults. Painting up next.
