Incoming BTR 152V!

Quite a bit on the go at the moment. Al and I started the 1985 Battle of Seoul last night and the first of two or three posts will begin tomorrow. The latest purchase arrived today to equip more of my Cold War Eastern Bloc forces.

Opening the box I am rather pleased to see what looks to be a simple kit with better quality parts than my last two efforts. Actually looking forward to this kit.

In talking to Al last night, we discussed our plans for the month, after all it is now spring (Officially) and we need get sorted for the Summer gaming season.

My plans include;

  1. Clean the gaming room up, I really need to pull my finger out on this as gaming last night was horrifically complicated. I have taken a rubbish bag up there, so operations on that phase have commenced.
  2. Re-base and organise my British Paratroopers. These have been on my list for a while and it would be good to get them out of the way.
  3. Buy or steal off Al more file boxes and copy Tim's method over at http://megablitzandmore.blogspot.com/2011/05/box-file-project-part-2.html . Probably not so fancy, but more colonial in nature.
  4. I have a handful of WW2 models all ready at the build and primer stage and I better get them finished.
That's enough for a month I think.

  1. I was trying to find where one could get megablitz but it looks like you pretty much can't, except in bits and comments and such.

    For file boxes, the printer paper boxes are pretty ubiquitous and just the right size for paper, just not quite as strong as some but still pretty hefty for the weight they hold.

  6. Hi Thomas, I have on the table now tempting me...
