Slaying The Stash 3: Matchbox Morris & 17 Pounder

Over the weekend I have finished the Matchbox Morris Tractor and 17 Pounder gun. Added to the other one I have gives me an understrength Battery. Above the Battery with the other 17 Pounder in the background, along with the Command stand and Jeep.
Looking a little lonely, the Morris Tractor complete.
Simple Olive Drab, dry brushed with mud and decals attached, then a lighter colour to give contrast to the tarp. I tried to fix the lockers under the rear deck, but managed to break one of the wheels, so after fixing it I gave up on the idea.
The 17 Pounder was straight forward enough, the same Olive Drab and mud along with the spare decals from the other Matchbox set I actually built.
Low slung looking gun isn't it. Nasty surprise for Jerry!
As part of the deal with myself I also reorganized one of my storage boxes. This one is my British RA file box. 2, 6, 17 and 25 Pounders, along with 4.5 or 5.5 inch Guns and Transport. Achilles SP Gun Battery as well.

With luck the Airfix Sherman should be finished tonight as well.

  4. Thanks Nick, I must admit that I spent probably 50 minutes in total to finish these off.

Drying time of course not included.

    Regards Paul

  8. Nice little ambush for a Tiger ;)

The HVAP round from the 17pdrs were usually enough to dissuade German armour from getting too nosey
