As my delinquent chum Al pointed out the other night, I really need to pull finger on a few items of clutter around the man cave. Starting off tonight with a few kits that have been purchased completed, then primed, then laid to gather dust. First up this classic Airfix Sherman. It has some problems, the fella I picked this up from had constructed it generally okay but had placed the running wheels on back to front.
I decided to leave them as is because I could not be naffed fixing them. The hull MG is also broken, but I plan to sandbag the area so it shall not be a hassle.

Up next the awesome Matchbox 17 Pounder. This wiry temptress is completed to a good standard and will after painting go into making up a Battery for my British. I still need one more to get to three, but two is still better than one.

And whats a 17 Pounder without its Tractor. Unlike the gun this Matchbox kit is a little dodgy but it will do the job. Paint schemes next.
Great stuff mate... who are you calling a delinquent?
ReplyDeleteMy mistake Al, I did not mean to mess with your karma man.
ReplyDeleteRock on!
I like them and reminds me that I need tractors.
ReplyDeletehahaha!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with these Paul!!
T.
Yes , very great stuff !!!!
ReplyDeleteClassic kits all! The Sherman wheels can be disguised with a liberal coating of 'mud' (can you see a theme developing with my approach to modelling?). The Morris tractor always looks a bit beaten up - it's not just the way I build them!
ReplyDeleteI think an amnesty month could be called for.A month of finishing things. We all have cluttered, half finished, undercoated figures and tanks knocking around.
ReplyDeleteCheers Rich.
Nice model...it's my darling...
ReplyDeleteI'm starting this model.. must be quickly Erhan :))
Regards..
These all look like they'll make fine finished products. Can't wait to see them when they're done.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone is always in need of tractors Lurker, guns are to easy to pick up without them.
ReplyDeleteThanos, luck is a fickle lady my friend
ReplyDeleteCheers Carlo.
ReplyDeleteQuite right Tim, I found it fiddly when constructing my last one, so I think it may be just the kit.
ReplyDeleteAnother nail on the head comment Rich. I do promise not to build a new kit without finishing some of my other projects...Honest.
ReplyDeleteModel on Erhntly!
ReplyDeleteUnderway Bard.
