Tinarse of the week goes to Dave who over the weekend managed to score on Saturday a Airfix 1/72 Super-marine Spitfire Mk Vc for $2 NZD, then today he picked up 2 180 Cessna's, a Piper Cub, and a Academy AH-64 Apache all in 1/48 scale. The last four kits cost him $15 NZD.
I can see these gathering dust for years. Good score Dave
But how did he find such a good deal? I have noticed my difficult ones will get dusty but the easy ones get built quickly.
ReplyDeleteFor that money let gather dust for a while and it becomes a nice surprise from the loft/attic in a few months.
ReplyDeleteCheers Rich.
Great result - check back in, how many years, to see the completed models?
ReplyDeleteMekelnborg, the markets are a cheap source of models kits.
ReplyDeleteI am in the same boat with kit complexity.
Regards Paul
Months Rich, years I would say!
ReplyDeleteTim, I am betting on 5+ for the Cessna's.
ReplyDeleteNothing like adding some good long-term ballast to the old 'mountain of kits'. Wouldn't do to have it diminish as the more useful bits get built.
ReplyDeleteI think you have hit the nail on the head mate!
