A quick post tonight showing progress on the Matchbox British Armoured Cars.

Light Black disruptive pattern added and I highlighted jerrycans and tarps etc.

I added a figure for the Command Stand. He will not be painted like Monty however.

And for the Dingo I placed a wire rope bundle on the front. That's all for tonight, Al and I are supposed to be wargaming. Where is the blighter hes late!
Good work, have a good game if the blighter turns up.
ReplyDeleteGood work! I have an unbuilt humber lying about somewhere, after an abortive stint at gaming the desert. Good idea to paint it green and use it in Europe.
ReplyDeleteNow, where did I put that box of old kits? Hm...
Hi Paul, it's nice Matchbox and best finish (where is my dingooo, I must find)
ReplyDeleteLooking good Paul.
ReplyDeleteLooking sharper by the minute!
ReplyDeleteGood stuff, Paul!
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell the Recce burning
ReplyDeleteNice addition Paul
Cheers Fran, finally he did show...Did not bother to help with the dishes either.
ReplyDeleteGood show Laffe, Desert fighting is something Al and I are not into, so it is good to see someone else not bothering about it.
ReplyDeleteGet that box open!
Hi Erhntly, get that Dingo out. Always looking for more insparation and ideas.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul
Hi Steve, good to see you back, I did not realize you had a blog. Added to the bloglist. Some nice stuff there as well.
ReplyDeleteRegards Paul
Thanks Bard, not quite there yet, decals next.
ReplyDeleteHi Monty. Classic Matchbox kits are always fun to work with.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul
What are you trying to infer Geordie? These boys have a lot of life left in them!
ReplyDeleteGreat work mate on the restoration job. They are cracking models.
ReplyDeleteCheers Rich.
Tis true Rich, Matchbox's Armoured Cars were little beauties.
ReplyDeleteEven thick paint does little to detract from the lovely lines.
Cheers Paul
Nothing to detract from the models, it's just hard for a Recce man to live long enough to draw a pension ;)
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing them on table
Thats why I need two Squadrons of them Geordie. One is never enough!
