A quick update to counter the Red propaganda concerning the ongoing Battle of Seoul 1985 over at http://20thcenturywargames.blogspot.com/2011/10/seoul-85-continued.html . I don't know if it was the Red Horse Filipino extra strong beer or the pressure being brought to bear on the despot NK Forces, but Comrade Al seems to have the wrong end of the stick concerning the balance of the battle. Above US Airborne hold off yet another determined push from NK Forces, They have been in position now for 10 or so moves and fended off around 9 attacks, The NK Regt here has been reduced to a Company.

NK AT Gun emplaced in rubble, This crew was overrun and forced back in the next move.

Yet another attack on the Southern US Airborne Forces. Finally the US troops have taken some causalities here, but still are holding. Al threw some excellent dice here at the start of the night.

My cut off ROK Regular Infantry Company is close assaulted by NK Armour and massed Infantry at the top of the railway station.

Meanwhile to the west ROK Reservists decimate a NK Company. A poor throw from myself saw a bad morale check and half of the force withdraw, the remaining ROK Companies continued to advance without pause however.

The end of my cut off ROK Regular Company. Unlike Al's forces who start full strength each game, my troops have fought all battles in the campaign with the actual strength at the end of each battle continued on. So it brings a tear to my weary eyes to see these veterans destroyed. I believe that this Battalion is down to about 60% now, tragic stuff...Hero's every one of them.

Back into battle my Airborne Armoured Company returns to support the ROK Reservists to mop up NK troops to the west of the table...More to come.
Heroes the lot of them, good work again sir.
ReplyDeleteWell done - I never believed a word of Al's propaganda! Nice to see more 'Sheridan porn' and a glimpse of a ROCO lorry.
