Continuing on in the now epic fight for Seoul 1985, Sheridan Platoon edging past the previously destroyed Platoon, the light armour was no match for the Red AT guns. This Platoon recovered and went on to destroy the AT gun nest and lend support the the Reserve Homeland ROK Battalion.

T55 Companies in full flight, moving though the NK Advance.

Mi Mil 4 Hounds (Okay S-58's) delivering a Battalion of NK Regulars onto the Rail yard.

With a Hind Flight in support. Having landed the Battalion we called it a night.
At this stage of the game it looks like it could go either way, the NK's have lost 24 Platoons against the US/ROK 5 Platoons.
With the full Battalion landed the NK's still have around 59 Platoons worth of troops on the field and in or moving into contact, while US/ROK forces have a handy 28, and a further 3 or 4 still to be deployed.
FIBUA is always a shite-fight, and the US and ROK forces have started to take on the hits and their performance quite impressive so far will start to wither, the question is can they hang on against the dramatic odds that the North keep throwing at them?
A shite-fight is an excellent term, very enjoyable series.
ReplyDeleteThanks Fran, good to know that people read the commentary. We have other names for it of course but like to keep it G.

A very quaint phrase! Nice to see you're getting some mileage from your heli fleet.
ReplyDeleteQuite correct Tim, no use building stuff and not using them.
ReplyDeleteThat would be wasteful and hard to justify the expense... Or so she says.
