I made these up last night to better base my existing hedges or bocage.

Basic and simple, they suit me down to the ground. Thin strips of artificial turf/grass glued with PVA onto painted vinyl bases then flocked. I left some with gaps to give them a more irregular shape, which I probably will do more of with some stones filling the gaps.

These are a ongoing project and I have completed quite a few more with some of the lengths coming in at around 1ft or so. Total time per stand is around 3 minutes over 6 hours including drying time.
Excellent idea!
ReplyDeleteI've got some artificial grass that's too chunky to use as fields and I've been wondering what to do with it. Problem solved!
How easy is it to cut?
That's good stuff mate. The haul arrived today, see you after work tomorrow:)
ReplyDeleteThese look really good! Taking apart fake grass was a really good idea.
ReplyDeleteClever idea Paul!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the total height of each base?
T.
Rosbif, quite easy to cut with a decent craft (Stanley Knife) knife on the underside.
ReplyDeleteI placed a book on top to help the bonding process.
Cheers Paul
