As part of my ongoing master plan to rid the loft of half builds, preloved models and spares I have this week been concentrating on the field and anti tank guns. I think (90%) that this one is a Matchbox kit. Built up from at least 3 different kits this took about 10 minutes to rebuild, then 5 more minutes while I deconstructed it again after catching on that the trail arms were upside down.

Still more spares, I hope to get one more out of these. You can never have enough AT Guns if you are a German, I believe they built about 23,500 of this model alone.

I repainted it into a disruptive scheme rather than dark yellow or grey.

Again I am pleased to get another one out of the way, and a Pak 38 is halfway through painting.
Model on!
Just 23,499 to go then! Another good use of a load of broken bits.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done. I really like the paintwork.

Like the paintwork mate, that's a very good bone yard jobby indeed
ReplyDeleteNo way Tim, I could not be naffed constructing the crews.

Cheers Nick, the good think about German disruptive schemes is anything goes!

Thanks Al, your PaK 38 is on the way now!
ReplyDeleteVery nice end result Paul.
ReplyDeleteCheers Rodger. Always good to recycle.

Paul, consider you scheme copied. I got a box of Italeri PaK-40s and at least one of them will be wearing it.

Oh boy, do I identify with this.
ReplyDeleteSomewhere, I'm sure I have up to 10 Matchbox or Esci (pre-Italeri) Pak40s in bits, awaiting reallocation - "Romania's looking nice this time of year! Simon, Romania, please."
Nice work.
