For Christmas, the wife grabbed me a complete DVD edition of the Pacific. Chuffed about this because it is what I actually asked for. I missed it last year on TV as I was overseas when it was on. And a couple of brushes and Humbrol paints.
From my good mate Phil, he picked me up some paints and washes from Christchurch, which as the paint supply situation over here is quite grim it was a good thing. Nice one mate!
And my ole chum Al, managed to score myself a Matchbox Album 1980 and he donated me a selection of WW2 NZ Home Guard, Territorial Army figure stands. Blooming useful they are as well. Quite a nice haul I think.
Model on!

Nice you will certainly enjoy the series and the paints I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteNice haul there Paul.Paints and brushes are always good to get. Scored a couple of war DVDs for Christmas but the TV feel over in last weeks quakes so have to wait until I get another so that I can watch them!
ReplyDeleteA nice thoughtful selection of necessities and inspiration
ReplyDeleteThat should keep you busy and productive into the New Year
Nice Haul there mate. That Matchbox Album looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteMr Wargame News and Terrain, I have managed to watch the first one and it seemed quite good. The paints are welcome reinforcements and are needed at once.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul
Oh bugger Rodger, thats not too good mate. I do suppose not having a TV makes for more time with the brush and paint however!
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul
Spot on Geordie, I did steal some other items from Al yesterday, more on those later!
ReplyDeleteKind Regards Paul
Hi Paul, the Album is a bit naff, but well worth it for nostalgia purposes, and given my Matchbox fetish, well thought out and appreciated.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul
Not a bad selection!

ReplyDeleteTim, not as blooming good as your self purchased haul, but certainly nothing to sneeze at.
