$2.50?! Just got me a Stuka and Hurricane at retail (20% off at Toyworld!) and they worked out to be about the same as any of the auctions that I could find, when freight is added into the equation...
Still getting used to a Spitfire in American markings, but pilots soon learn anthing that contained an element of red in it was "shot at" by Allied gunners
Just when I feel like building a 1/72 kit I have to face this sort of intimidation! Please tell Dave to try and lower his standards bit to give the rest of us a fighting chance. As far as the Spit is concerned, it looks good in any markings!
I know Tim, this geezer really takes the cake sometimes. Just when I think I am improving on my skills I check the inbox and there is a bunch of photos with something better.
Practice makes perfect I am told.
Regards Paul, who by the way would never add US marking to a Spitfire.

Hi Don, Dave was quite happy with it I think.

Hi Geordie, I think the Stars do look a little odd on a Spit as well. Reverse lend lease at its best eh?
