I received a batch of prebuilt and loved HUMMWV's a few years ago, and they have gathered dust in their desert sand colour ever since.
Over the past week I have been chipping away at rebuilding and repainting them.
This is the first finished example, a Revell M997 Ambulance.
Decals are from the spares box, which has taken a hammering in the Red Cross section. I really needed more square ones but you work with what you have got.
More eye candy than use for gaming, it would have been a shame to leave it out.
Model on!

Nice. No doubt those big red crosses will help Al to aim his artillery...
ReplyDeleteCould do with one of those in 15mm, nice work.....
ReplyDeleteNice work Paul, and good to see the Airfix 'Strong Point' getting another runout ;)
ReplyDeleteVery nice work Paul!
ReplyDeleteA very nice addition
ReplyDeleteI have carefully ensured that Al's artillery is limited and even unavailable in games...Part of the master plan.
ReplyDeleteThanks Fran.
ReplyDeleteCheers Monty, I can take a hint...
ReplyDeleteDo not panic Al, just eye candy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rodger, I always feel better actually getting around to doing stuff after such a long time.
ReplyDeleteVery nice ambulance. Maybe its time to make my own already ;)
ReplyDeleteCheers

Go on Thomas, show me how they are suppose to look!
