As posted yesterday, my Jadgpanther Company is commanded by this Character, coincidently his twin brother commands a Panther Unit over at Tim's http://megablitzandmore.blogspot.co.nz/ website.
This chap strikes a lovely pose and breeds fear into Al's allied armour columns and Infantry. Must admit being a little deflated after showing the missus him last night...She thought he looked cute...Cute! I told her in uncertain terms that this man was a warrior and deserves respect. I then made her make her own coffee...Women!

Now, Paul: you give your good lady insufficient credit. 'Cute' is Womanese for 'ruggedly handsome, yet with a certain quiet sensitivity; in possession of a commanding presence and a certain "damn you" insouciance that says "here is an excitingly dangerous man", yet retaining just that half-hidden admixture of respect that says "come hither" to the female mind.'
ReplyDeleteNah. You're right. 'Cute' just doesn't cut it.
Cheers,
Ion
Respect just does not feature in her vocabulary Ion. I feel that the 2 minutes of painting was somehow wasted.
DeleteCheers Paul
What do they know, mine once said pretty when looking at a painted Viking warrior....pretty!
ReplyDeleteI hope you sent her back to the kitchen where she belongs Fran, pretty indeed...
DeleteI feel for you man.
Lol! Very good!
ReplyDeleteThis is not a joke Monty, its a bit on the nose I think!
DeleteI wouldn't call him cute, Paul! They just don't understand. Nice bit of work you have done there.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rodger, us Kiwi blokes need to stick together!
DeleteWomen....in their own little world!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fair job on him though Paul! :-)
T.
Thanks Thanos, men of the world unite!
DeleteCute...LoL. My wife still insists on referring to my models as my 'little men'.
ReplyDeleteHi Lee, thats not too bad, better than cute. You had better keep hold of her!
DeleteAha, she made her own coffee but you slept on the sofa - at least that's how it would have 'panned out' (as in frying pan) in my household if I'd pulled that one!
ReplyDeletecheers WW
No worries on that front WW, she saw that I meant business.
DeleteThe sofa's not that bad anyway...
They will never learn.....
ReplyDeleteIt's like pulling teeth mate, wisdom teeth!
Deletelol mate, great stuff nonetheless :)
ReplyDeleteHey Al, we have both been there mate...They just don't make some of these molds anymore...Unlike women who are born every day and therefore quite expendable.
DeleteHe looks heroic and not cute Paul ;-D
ReplyDeleteThey just don't understand it, don't they?
Greetings
Peter
